All My Children has done very well in casting beautiful young women to play Bobbie Eakes’ daughters and the current beauty is Brittany Allen. Acting in a continuing story on a daily basis is hard work given the pages of dialogue and the shooting schedule. That someone so new to the genre and in a front burner story line takes the time to step up and help with awareness and fund-raising says a lot. The cast of the show, in its 40th year, has always done well regarding HIV/AIDS as evidenced by their yearly participation here and their support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Prohibition provides the perfect environment for this kind of happening. Ms. Allen will find it a very welcoming atmosphere. Her TV mom could attest to that, having performed there as recently as last month. Brittany Allen is a welcomed addition to the Love Out Loud family.
