Love Out Loud for Brittany Underwood

Brittany Underwood joined the cast of One Life to Live in 2006 in the role of Langston Wilde. Miss Underwood was born in Newark, New Jersey and grew up in Mountain Lakes. Art imitates life for Miss Underwood as her character, Langston, shares her same Colombian heritage. Her mother, Martha, is from Colombia and she is fluent in Spanish. In high school, Miss Underwood pursued her interests in performing, appearing in such productions as The King and I, Guys and Dolls, HMS Pinafore, and The Music Man. She was at a crossroads about whether or not she would continue acting as a career; a commercial for NuStars was the sign she needed. While in high school, she was cast in a guest starring role on Law & Order:SVU. In the summer of 2006, she appeared in Shakespeare in the Park's Mother Courage with Meryl Streep. As a black belt in Tae Kwan Do, Brittany understands what it means to build character.
Perhaps it is her desire build a peaceful world through that discipline's philosophy that has prompted her to come on board for our event.
